Intercomp designs and manufactures static and portable weigh-in-motion & measurement solutions to help our customers improve container freight and vehicle operations. With products and solutions to address SOLAS Chapter VI Method 1 and Method 2 VGM weighing, organizations ranging from shippers to terminal operators
have multiple product options.
For Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) applications, we provide both portable in-ground options. Low speed applications utilizing portable and in-ground options enable accurate vehicle and cargo weighing up to 10mph (16km/h) while WIM sensors enable weights at up to highway speeds with a minimally invasive installation. These systems allow for rapid screening and processing of vehicle traffic and gates within ports and terminals.
The static weighing products enable acquiring weights of vehicles or cargo and components tomeet either Method 1 or Method 2 SOLAS VGM regulations. Intercomp has multiple scale or weighing options for containers and contents at once (Method 1) or contents of the container that can be added to the tare weight of the container (Method 2.)
Incorporating strain gauge technology into the weighing systems, customers have become accustomed to the accuracy, reliability, and durability that Intercomp scales deliver to the users in the field.
